My Story

Tara Qualified as Chartered Physiotherapist in 2005 from Robert Gordons University, she has numerous years of NHS experience working in Highland and Grampian. Her time in the NHS covered core aspects including Orthopaedics, Intensive Care, Care of the Elderly, Community Rehabilitation, Stroke and Musculoskeletal Outpatients. In 2010 she completed further studies at the Royal Veterinary College, London to qualify as a Veterinary Physiotherapist.  Tara now specialises in Equine Physiotherapy and Improving Rider Performance. Tara is a Category A Member of The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy, as well as being CSP and  HCPC registered.
Tara enjoys working within the “team” that surrounds a horse and rider; coach, vet, farrier etc. to optimise the outcome of rehabilitation or enhance performance in the competition environment.  She loves being part of the journey and watching all her clients enjoy their horses, whether that be sitting on for the first time following injury or getting to Grand Prix.
Tara has a strong work ethic, in the spare time she manages to get she enjoys spending time with her family and her horses. Tara has more horses than she cares to mention, her main 2 ane Dandy who she has competed to BE100 and enjoys BD and Firth who is a 5 year old, homebred she is looking forward to working with.
